I love to photograph anything that can portray emotion, when the onlooker views the photo, it must stir something inside them or make them feel something or take them on a journey! Photography to me is my way of expressing how I see the world, and that changes as my life changes... plus I love to show others what they may or may not see...I have been told my style is photo-journalistic and I best description for my style is lifestyle photography..and that’s pretty much how I like it to be - as if I am not there and just capturing moments as if they were happening without someone actually being there...I love to be creative (my focus was DJ’s, music (dance) and creative idea shoots) but since I had my little boy, I must admit my focus has become family, kids and babies, maternity and a little bit of boudoir, even though I love to create and be creative (just need to find the time, been a part-time photographer)...Photography is a reflection of how I feel about that specific situation and try capture the essence within every person, little beings and family's ...There is no greater gift than to capture precious memories that individuals will cherish and that I have been witness to a glimpse of magic, a moment that can never be recreated again...To contribute to making someone feel good about themselves or witness a person brought to tears of how blessed they are with their beautiful family or capture those little moments of when their babies are still babies (as they grow up so quickly)...Maybe even bring a tear or two...

I love LIGHT TOO! One thing you notice when you start to photograph things around you , is how light can changes colours, glitter and shimmer in nature through the branches of a beautiful tree, create shadows on subjects that make interesting photos and probably will never totally understand the wonders of it...I read photography is the art of writing with light....LOVE THAT! And the way photography is moving in the digital world, it is definitely an interesting topic if you look at photography in its pure form VS the digital art industry it is becoming...So in saying that, I try shoot with NATURAL LIGHT ...It brings beautiful dimension and there is no better lighting, plus I love the books on the STROBIST, teaching you techniques to use light in creative and simple methods rather than spending tons of money on expensive equipment (That’s cause I can’t afford that equipment hahaha and not judging the people who can)

I am a part-time photographer, so my time is very little as I am a mommy to a very busy little boy and have a wonderful "hubby" who supports me in my passion and looks after our nunu when I am capturing and then a full time working career woman during the week, so my weekends are all that I have and need to find balance to spend time with my family (my amazing fiancée and Little Blake which are first and foremost) but also spend time within my absolute passion - photography and WISH ON A THOUSAND SHINING STARS, that one day it will become a full-time career. So beautiful people, if I am booked out quickly , it is not that I don’t want to have more time but sadly it is all I have but I thank you from the depths of my heart that each time I get a booking, it means the absolute world and tells me I must keep going and that one, one day it may not be a dream career but my ultimate career and I can keep spreading the LOVE! With absolute gratitude and love, thank-you for all the support, and as small as I may be in this world, well I hope I am contributing to spreading the light and love....
